LEBANON, CONN., Saturdays from July 7 to August 25, 2007, 12pm to 4pmGet relief from the summer heat at the Lebanon Historical Society Museum. We’ve opened an outbuilding with an eclectic display of wagons, plows, washing machines and other 19th-century farming equipment. Browse in our gift shop for local books, reproduction colonial toys, postcards, souvenirs, note cards and more. Bring a picnic lunch to eat on our shaded patio or just sit and enjoy a cold drink--water is available for people and thirsty dogs. Admission to the museum is free, and the Revolutionary War Hands-on History Room and exhibit galleries are air conditioned. The LHS Museum, 856 Trumbull Highway, is open Wednesday through Saturday, from 12pm to 4pm; the outbuilding is open on Saturdays only from 12 pm to 4 pm. Admission is free, donations appreciated.
